This four-day workshop brought together researchers from across the U.S. to discuss issues important to Alaska's marine resources and the communities that depend on them. Topics included the role of ocean processes and climate in primary productivity, research on the causes of Steller sea lion declines, citizen monitoring and community involvement in marine research, and the status of marine birds, fish and mammals.
